In the Rouku region, we have pokemon from all of the regions. Here you can audition to have your pokemon added to Pokemon Rouku's pokedex, and possibly see your pokemon showing up on routes and other threads in the near future.

| Traveling Partnerships
Is your character going to be lonely on the journey the multitude of routes? Under the 'Traveling Partnerships' board, you can arrange for your character to travel in a party as big as you want. Other relationships, such as friendships and rivalries, can also be scheduled here.

New trainers pick of their starter pokemon at the base of Route One, in a polished wooden building with chrome extensions where the real scientific research happens. There's virtually no other houses surrounding it, as it is used as a Base Camp for the surrounding mountains rather than residing in a town.

To start your journey, you will have to pass through the Hossoku mountains; a relatively small but tiring mountain range. A reasonably navigable path runs through it, if you're in to that kind of stuff.

| Route Two (1 sub-board)
After your climb through the mountains, you find yourself in a heavily forested plain. The only way to get to your first gym battle is to go straight through it. Mid-way through the forest, you can find something of an oasis where the pokemon drink, but otherwise the area seems rather dry.

| Da-ku Town (4 sub-boards)
A shady town with Dark types running freely on the streets. The people seem nice, but the dark buildings add to the ominous facade. This town is a necessity, however, for the first Gym resides here. The prices are pretty good for new trainers needing to stock up, but the pickpockets run freely among the beginners.

Finally, a break in the unwelcome feel of the Rouku Region! This place is perfectly round and beautifully sunny... Mostly grass-types reside here, but all types can be found. The large meadow is full of idle pokemon, along with being an ideal place for a rest.

Brrr- This Route is chi-illy! You should have savored the warmth of Route Three while it lasted! Steel and Ice types are common here, as they are not affected by the weather. Be sure not to fall into once of the thinly-coated ice pools around here; the temperature is frigid enough to be dangerous.

Here lies the second Gym, safely nestled within the thick steel walls blocking some of the frigid gusts from freezing its citizens. While still being most notably a stop for trainers, it is also well-known for the amount of research it does regarding pokemon.

After sloshing through a path of melting snow, you can finally see the sun on Route Five. But-ugh-so many bugs are starting to appear...! As you move along the winding path, flanked by trees, more and more of these insect and bug pokemon begin to appear... gross.

Route Five may have seemed teeming with bugs, but that's nothing compared to Route Six. It proves uncomfortable to anyone who prefers drinking their water over inhaling it. Bug types crawl freely over the route... Watch your step.

So this is where all of the bugs are attracted to... This town is much like the rain forest Route in front of it, but it seems all of the houses are made of... mushrooms? That's right, the residencies of this town are carved into massive fungi... with the exception of the Gym. Speaking of which, the fourth Gym resides here, its leader a master of Bug Types.

| Route Seven -- Michishio River (2 sub-boards)
The river is named after its steady flow; it stretches for miles and miles with a consistent current. You can pay the fee and ferry yourself across, but where's the fun in that? Then again, the only alternative is to brave the water yourself.

| Route Eight
The first thing immediately apparent is that this route is wet, along with unpleasantly squishy because of it. A heavy fog hangs over the route, thus continuously watering the murky liquid. There is no straight, dry path; you're going through the muck.

The marshy wetlands thin out to behold the shore of a beautiful, clear lake. The water parts around the center, going around the large round buildings clustered closely together. A bridge leads to each shore. Believe it or not, this is the next town; Hori Town.

Looking to get a few more of that favorite pokemon? Either with your own pokemon, or an arranged pairing with another member, you can breed your pokemon here. Make sure the two pokemon have a compatible egg group, and you read the basics. You'll soon have an egg containing a baby pokemon of your own.
